Substack Retirement
Dear readers,
I love writing so much. I have so enjoyed the time I have spent weaving narratives from scripture, creating articles for ideas I find important or that interest me. But the season of life I’m in has prevented me from pursuing my writing with all my heart. And, conversely, writing has prevented me from cultivating the interests of my home and family with all my heart.
I will leave my Substack open to the public in hopes that some of the things I have already written and recorded will still speak in my absence. But for now, I must retire my active participation in it in order to prioritize more important areas of my life.
Thank you for your support, your readership, and your encouraging feedback. I have loved every interaction as I’ve told my stories and heard yours in return.
I hope to return someday to writing when it can fit quietly into a life well-suited to the time and thought it takes to produce ideas worth sharing.
For now, these ideas I so treasure require my feet in action more than my hands in the written word.
Until we meet again.
All my love,
Huntress

Hello Mrs. Hunter! I found your substack late last month following a period of mind renewal, which ended with me acknowledging the reality/existence of “quantum truths” and that yes, everything does in fact testify. My arrival is quite late, and I’m not sure if you even “lurk” on substack but still, I wanted to thank you. Your articles have been such a blessing to me, with some of them directly addressing my own ruminations such as the significance of clean & unclean creatures and shoes (and enduring). Your emphasis on interpreting scripture as both literal and symbolic—which is still literal in the spiritual sense—was what I had come to acknowledge as well before I found you, yet I am unable to truly apply these elements and understand scripture like you do. The way you can understand and teach what the symbols, patterns, and seasons from scripture depicts is exactly what I want to be able to do. But above all, you make me eager to go back to reading the Bible and desire a deeper relationship with God. Thank you so very much for making your writings public. I will for sure be rereading/listening and waiting.☺️
