This was very edifying, thank you! Maybe you will have this in the third part, but what does prophesying look like in the new church? Also, I’m not sure I quite understand what it means to worship/pray/sing in spirit.
I am so glad it has been helpful! I do touch on prophesying a little bit in the last part, but it really needs its own series another time I think. On worshiping/praying/singing in the Spirit.. I think to summarize: we are able to do things "in the Spirit" simply because the Holy Spirit indwells us. Any worship, prayer or singing we offer to God as his children in the new covenant is, by definition, "in spirit." They did not have that in the old covenant. We truly live in the time the prophets longed to see!
